It’s great to be here! I really appreciate you having me.

 

Alessandra Torre is definitely an Italian name. Is it your real name? If it is a pen name, why did you choose an Italian name?

Alessandra is a pseudonym. 🙂 My real name is Italian, so it was important to me that I choose a pen name that was the same. I had a lot of fun picking a first and last name.

 

When did you discover your passion for writing? Did you ever think you would achieve all this success?

I always loved to write, but I never thought I had any talent at it. My teachers in school never raved about my writing, and I didn’t have any confidence in it. Post-school, I was a reader, and never considered writing my own novel. It wasn’t until my mom began to write her first book that I became interested. I was so fascinated by the novel-writing process, and the fact that self-publishing allowed me to skip the agent/traditional publishing routes. I decided that I would write my own novel, and not tell ANYONE about it. I was still so self-conscious about my writing, and was certain that it would be terrible. So I published it under a pseudonym, and kept it a secret from everyone but my husband.

I never dreamed I would achieve this level of success. I had grand hopes that I would one day make enough to cover my $38,000 a year salary at my day job. Imagine, if I could QUIT my job and write full time! It seemed like an impossible dream. One that has, thankfully, come true—and in such bigger and grander ways than I ever expected.

 

Is there a little bit of your life in your stories? Do you take inspiration from yourself, your husband, your friends and everything around you or is it all a work of pure fiction?

There is a little bit of truth in almost all of my stories, whether in their situations or their characters. I pull inspiration from everywhere, listen to any story that I can find, and sort of file everything away as a potential story piece or possibility. For example – the Innocence series Brad DeLuca is based on my husband’s personality – we met when I was 21 and he was 34, at work, and I was forbidden to speak to him – which is what sparked the storyline of Blindfolded Innocence.

 

Which one is your favourite among all your books and why?

The Deanna Madden series is my favorite, in terms of genre. I love the suspense genre, and it was fun to have complete freedom in writing that – I really let myself go wild in terms of plotline and characters.

I also really love The Ghostwriter. It was such a different journey to me, writing that novel, and it scarred me in a way that will never leave me. I love it, but it also hurts me a little.

And, Hollywood Dirt is the novel that makes me smile the most when reading it. It never fails to lift my spirits.

 

Blindfolded Innocence was your debut novel: how did you come up with this story? Its topic isn’t the easiest to explore. Has it been difficult for you to write the sex scenes?

As I mentioned earlier, it was my first novel, and I based the first 90 percent almost entirely on actual events. I met my husband at work. I was in college, he was divorced. We were both warned to stay away from each other. On our first date, he proposed that we fly to Vegas for the weekend. While he didn’t have sex with a stripper, I’m sure he would have liked to. J

The sex scenes were really interesting to write. When I wrote Blindfolded – EVERYONE was writing BDSM. It was right in the middle of Fifty Shades mania and you couldn’t open a book without reading about handcuffs and domination. I didn’t want to go that route. I picked the more unique path of swinging, and dove into researching that kink, which was an interesting world to explore.

 

How does it feel when one of your books comes to life on screen?  Are you fully satisfied with the movie adaptation of Hollywood Dirt?  Could you speak your mind in any way in conducting some of the scenes? Oh, and we saw you in the church scene. 😉

It was a surreal process, one that I didn’t believe was happening until I was actually on the set, watching cameras roll. There was a moment, during an evening shoot, when I looked around, at fifty crew members, four cameras, lights and actors, and I thought “Wow. This is all from my book. Those are my words that they are speaking. This is ACTUALLY happening.” It was a really surreal moment and one that really humbled me.

I could have chimed in on the directing, but I didn’t need to. Tosca Musk, the director on the film, was so talented at watching a take, figuring out what worked (and what didn’t) and communicating that to the characters.

 

Speaking of Hollywood Dirt, Brad De Luca, from “Innocence” series, shows up in the story, which suggests he is a character you are fond of, right? What can you tell us about him? 

Brad’s my favorite character, ever. Mainly because I based his personality on my husband, so he’s a breeze to write. Whenever I get stuck, I just ask my husband for help. Brad is an attorney, super alpha, possessive and territorial, but he also likes bringing others into the bedroom – he loves watching his wife explore her sexuality, and that is something that was SO outside of the box, when I wrote it – it took a while for me to understand that lifestyle and the motivations behind it.

 

You write books of different genres: romance, erotic, suspense. Is it easy for you to switch from a genres to another? And which one do you like the most to write?

It’s easy for me, and I actually like the switch. My brain needs a rest from things at times, and exploring different genres gives me that opportunity.

I like writing suspense best. In suspense, there are almost no rules. I don’t have to give a Happy Ever After, I don’t have to convince the readers of love, I can have terrible characters, and unpredictable outcomes, and it all works.

 

As well as writing, you are very invested in helping those who want to be a writer. Which is the first advice you would give to those who want to pursue this kind of career?

Be patient. Don’t expect overnight success. I hit my first bestseller list with my sixth novel. It takes time, reinvesting income back into your novels, consistent marketing and publishing quality and unique novels. Give yourself time to find your voice, develop that voice, and then give it the best possible chance of success through the cover, description, pricing and marketing.

If you had to start all over again your writing career, what kind of advices would you give to yourself? Would you do everything in exactly the same way?

I wouldn’t have sold Blindfolded Innocence to a publisher. I wouldn’t have signed my first Girl in 6E film deal. I would have edited and proofed Blindfolded Innocence before I published it.

But… I learned from all of those mistakes. So I don’t know that I would take back those decisions.

 

You are amazing in defining your characters where there’s never a chance they are stereotypes. Would you like to share something about the “behind the scenes”? How do you work? When does a character satisfy you fully?

I wish I had a magic equation to share. I base almost all of my characters on someone that I ‘know’ – either personally or a celebrity or movie character of some sort – or a blend of several people! I try to really have the character cemented in my head before I start to write. And I don’t worry about whether readers will like them, or if they’ll offend someone, or if they are behaving the way that a character is supposed to. Real life is messy, real people are chaotic, unpredictable, and we are mostly selfishly motivated. That’s okay. I embrace that part of us. Perfect characters are boring.

 

One of the things I love about you is your incredible ability to “mislead” the readers, throwing them off, enjoying yourself by playing with their mind, as it happens in “Black Lies” or in “Tight” (which we hope reading it translated in Italian language soon). I love how one single sentence is able to show two distinct interpretations. Here it comes my questions: how could you develop such intricate and twisted plots? Where do you find inspiration for such original stories?

I love how you mentioned one line being interpreted in different ways – because that is my biggest fear in translations – that those ‘double meanings’ won’t be retained. To answer your question, one of my major goals, as soon as I sit down to write a novel, is to mislead the reader. I remember when I first sent the first half of Black Lies to my agent, and she came back to me with a concern that readers would feel intentionally mislead and manipulated. I sort of scratched my head and said “But… I AM trying to mislead and manipulate them!”

It is evil, but I think readers love it. I, as a reader, love it. I love missing clues when they are cleverly hid, and I love being caught off guard by a story. I never want a reader to start reading my novel and to ‘figure out’ the ending within the first ten minutes. My goal is to always keep them on their toes and guessing. With some books that is easier to do than others.

The inspiration from stories comes from the oddest places. I’ll read a news story, or watch a movie trailer, and start envisioning the possibilities that might come from it. I’ll listen to gossip, or try to imagine the secrets that an ordinary person might have. There is so much great real-life inspiration, all around us. We just need to keep our ears open and listen to it.

 

Do you have favourite authors? Who are they?

In romance, I love Pam Godwin, CD Reiss and Tiffany Reisz. They all have really sharp and interesting writing.

In suspense, I love Lisa Gardner and Gillian Flynn – they keep me on my toes and glued to the pages.

 

What is your typical working day like?

I don’t have one. I’m TRYING to get a schedule. I would be so much more productive on a schedule! But I normally get up around seven and check and respond to emails. I make breakfast and settle down to work around nine. For the next three hours, I respond to social media, emails, and to-do list items. Then I meet my husband for lunch. In the afternoon, I try and write for three or four uninterrupted hours. After dinner I’ll normally tackle a few more hours of emails and social media, and if I can get in another two hours of writing, I will. I normally go to bed around one in the morning.

 

Which book of yours was the harder to write? Why?

Hmmm. Black Lies used to be the answer to this. I really struggled with how to tell the story, and which angles to come in at, and how to best manipulate the reader. But then I wrote The Ghostwriter. And rewrote The Ghostwriter. And rewrote it some more. I worked on that book for over a year, and that – for me – is a really long time. I really needed that time in order to hone it to the level where I was really happy with it.

 

How much research do you do for your novels?

It depends on the book. Some books – like The Girl in 6E, took months of research, to understand that industry (the webcam industry). Blindfolded Innocence also took a ton of research, as I wanted to reach out to and speak to swinger couples. But other books… like Sex Love Repeat or Trophy Wife – I did little to no research on.

 

Did you ever get writer’s block? How did you get through it?

I rarely ever get writer’s block. Writer’s block is typically caused by inability to develop your plot or your characters. My characters I normally know back and forth. My plot – when I get stuck on those – I work through by either writing three or four different possibilities and seeing which I like best – or by just sitting and ‘thinking’ a lot. My son’s best friend once said that I do a lot of ‘thinking’, and I do! Often, just thinking will work through most issues.

 

How do you deal with a negative review?

I used to read every review, positive or negative, but now I am more selective in what I view. I often read three star reviews, since they are normally from a more constructive place than a one or two star reviews. I don’t mind critical negative reviews, but some are really hateful in tone and nature. Those I avoid. They bring on negative energy and I try to focus on positivity. While I want to improve as a writer, I also want to keep writing, and some of those reviews make me want to quit.

 

How and how much does your editor affect in the draft of your novels? You have a trustworthy one, I guess.

I am an extensive rewriter. My first draft is typically complete garbage. I can often pick out what needs to be fixed, but I also need second opinions to help guide my decisions and keep me on track. I have two editors that I often use, and two or three beta readers that help me improve each draft, and it normally takes five or six drafts before I am happy.

 

Your latest book “Hidden Seams” has been recently released, do you already have any ideas about the story of the next one? Can you give us a little sneak peek?

The next release will be the All In series – which will be a duet or a trilogy. It’s about a cocktail waitress who falls in love with a married man, and is a romantic suspense. It’s sexy and forbidden and full of danger, which has been so much fun to write. I love the ability to spend longer in the story, that’s really helping me to properly develop the story and the characters.

Alessandra Torre è decisamente un nome italiano. È il tuo vero nome? Se è uno pseudonimo, come mai hai scelto un nome italiano?

Alessandra è uno pseudonimo. 🙂 Il mio vero nome è italiano, quindi per me è stato importante scegliere un nome d’arte che lo fosse. Mi sono divertita molto a scegliere nome e cognome.

 

Quando è nata la tua passione per la scrittura? Avresti mai pensato di raggiungere tutto questo successo?

Ho sempre amato scrivere, ma non avevo mai pensato di avere del talento. I miei insegnanti a scuola non sono mai stati entusiasti della mia scrittura e io non avevo molta sicurezza nel farlo. Dopo la scuola, ero solo una lettrice e non avevo mai preso in considerazione l’idea di scrivere un romanzo. È stato soltanto dopo che mia madre ha cominciato a scrivere il suo primo libro, che ho iniziato a provare interesse. Ero così affascinata dal processo di scrittura del romanzo, e dal fatto che l’autopubblicazione mi avrebbe permesso di bypassare l’agente/l’editoria tradizionale, che ho deciso di scrivere il mio romanzo e di non dirlo a nessuno. Ero ancora molto insicura del mio modo di scrivere ed ero certa che sarebbe stata terribile. Così ho pubblicato con uno pseudonimo e l’ho tenuto segreto a tutti, tranne a mio marito.

Non avrei mai immaginato di raggiungere questo livello di successo. Avevo grandi speranze di riuscire un giorno a guadagnare abbastanza da pareggiare il salario annuale di 38.000 dollari che percepivo con il mio lavoro.

Immagina, se potessi lasciare il mio lavoro e scrivere a tempo pieno!

Sembrava un sogno impossibile. Un sogno che, fortunatamente, è diventato realtà – e in modo notevolmente più grande di quanto mi sarei mai aspettata.

 

Nelle tue storie c’è un po’ della tua vita? Ti ispiri a te stessa, a tuo marito, agli amici, a quello che ti circonda o è tutta pura fantasia?

C’è un po’ di realtà in quasi tutte le mie storie, sia per quanto riguarda le situazioni, sia per i personaggi. Prendo ispirazione ovunque, ascolto qualunque storia riesco a trovare e, in un certo senso, archivio tutto come racconto possibile o potenziale. Per esempio, Brad De Luca, della serie Innocence, è basato sulla personalità di mio marito – ci siamo incontrati quando io avevo 21 anni e lui 34, sul posto di lavoro, e mi era stato proibito di parlare con lui – cosa che ha innescato la trama di Peccato d’innocenza.

 

Quale tra tutti i tuoi libri è il tuo preferito e perché?

La serie Deanna Madden è la mia preferita per quanto riguarda il genere. Mi piace il suspense ed è stato divertente avere totale libertà nello scriverlo: mi scateno proprio in termini di intrecci e personaggi.

Amo davvero molto anche The Ghostwriter. È stato un viaggio così diverso per me scrivere quel romanzo, e mi ha segnato in un modo che non mi lascerà mai. Lo amo, ma mi fa anche un po’ soffrire.

E, Hollywwod Dirt, è il romanzo che più mi fa sorridere quando lo leggo. Non manca mai di risollevarmi il morale.

 

Peccato di innocenza è stato il tuo romanzo di esordio: come ti è venuta in mente questa storia? Un soggetto non tra i più facili da esplorare. È stato complicato scrivere le scene di sesso?

Come ho accennato prima, è stato il mio primo romanzo e ho basato il primo 90% quasi interamente su eventi reali. Io frequentavo il college, lui era divorziato. A entrambi era stato intimato di stare lontani uno dall’altra. Al nostro primo appuntamento, mi ha proposto di andare a Las Vegas per il week end e, sebbene lui non abbia fatto sesso con una spogliarellista, sono sicura che gli sarebbe piaciuto. 🙂

Le scene di sesso sono state molto interessanti da scrivere. Quando ho scritto Peccato di Innocenza, tutti stavano scrivendo bdsm. Eravamo proprio nel mezzo delle “50 sfumature-mania” e non si poteva aprire un libro senza leggere di manette e dominazione. Non volevo seguire quella strada. Ho scelto quella più specifica degli scambisti e mi sono immersa nella ricerca di quel tipo di trasgressione, che è stato un mondo interessante da esplorare.

 

Come ci si sente quando uno dei tuoi libri prende vita sullo schermo? La trasposizione di Hollywood Dirt ti ha soddisfatta? Hai avuto la possibilità di intervenire nella gestione di alcune scene? Ah, e ti abbiamo visto nella scena della chiesa 😉

È stata una fase surreale, non credevo stesse succedendo finché non mi sono trovata davvero sul set e ho visto le telecamere riprendere. C’è stato un momento, durante una ripresa serale, in cui mi sono guardata attorno e, vedendo i cinquanta membri della troupe, le quattro telecamere, le luci, gli attori, ho pensato: “Wow. Tutto questo è dal mio libro. Quelle che stanno dicendo sono le mie parole. Sta realmente succedendo.” È stato davvero un momento surreale che mi ha proprio lusingata.

Sarei potuta intervenire nella regia, ma non ce n’è stato bisogno. Tosca Musk, la regista del film, ha davvero talento nell’osservare la ripresa, capire cosa funziona (e cosa no) e a comunicarlo ai personaggi.

 

A proposito di Hollywood Dirt vediamo comparire anche Brad De Luca, già protagonista della serie “Innocence”. Questo fa supporre che sia un personaggio che ti è rimasto nel cuore. Sbaglio? Che ci dici di lui?

Brad è il mio personaggio preferito, in assoluto, soprattutto perché ho basato la sua personalità su mio marito, quindi è stata una passeggiata scriverlo. Ogni volta che mi trovavo bloccata, chiedevo semplicemente aiuto a mio marito. Brad è un avvocato, super-alfa, possessivo e territoriale, ma gli piace anche portare altre persone nella camera da letto – gli piace guardare sua moglie esplorare la sua sessualità e quello è qualcosa di così fuori dagli schemi che, quando l’ho scritto, mi ci è voluto un bel po’ per capire quello stile di vita e le motivazioni alla base.

 

Hai scritto libri di genere diverso tra loro: romance, erotic, suspense. Ti è facile destreggiarti tra i vari generi? E quale ti piace di più scrivere?

Mi risulta facile e, a dire il vero, mi piace cambiare. Il mio cervello ha bisogno prendersi una pausa dalle cose ogni tanto, ed esplorare generi diversi mi dà quell’opportunità.

Mi piace di più scrivere suspense. Nel suspense quasi non ci sono regole. Non devo dare un lieto fine, non devo convincere i lettori dell’amore, posso scrivere di personaggi terribili e di finali imprevedibili, e tutto questo funziona.

 

Oltre a scrivere sei molto coinvolta ad aiutare chi vuole approcciarsi alla scrittura. Qual è il primo consiglio che daresti a chi vuole intraprendere la carriera di scrittore?

Di essere pazienti. Di non aspettarsi il successo immediato. Sono entrata per la prima volta nella classifica dei best seller, con il mio sesto romanzo. Ci vuole tempo, si devono reinvestire i guadagni nei propri romanzi, con un marketing costante, qualità editoriale e romanzi unici. Bisogna darsi il tempo di trovare la propria voce, svilupparla e poi darle la migliore possibilità di successo attraverso la cover, la descrizione, il prezzo e il marketing.

Se tu dovessi iniziare a scrivere adesso, quali consigli ti daresti? Faresti tutto allo stesso modo?

Non avrei venduto Peccato d’innocenza a un editore. Non avrei firmato il primo contratto cinematografico per La ragazza del 6E. Avrei fatto fare un editing e un proofreading a Peccato d’innocenza prima di pubblicarlo.

Ma… ho imparato da tutti quegli errori. Quindi non so se cambierei quelle decisioni.

 

Sei formidabile nella caratterizzazione dei personaggi e non rischi mai di usare degli stereotipi: ti va di raccontarci qualcosa del dietro le quinte? Come lavori? Quando ti soddisfa appieno un personaggio?

Mi piacerebbe avere un’equazione magica da condividere. Quasi tutti i miei personaggi si basano su qualcuno che “conosco” –  o personalmente o celebrità, o personaggi di film di qualche tipo – o un miscuglio di più persone! Cerco proprio di avere il personaggio consolidato nella mia testa prima di iniziare a scrivere. E non mi preoccupo se ai lettori piaceranno o se offenderanno qualcuno, o se si comporteranno come si suppone dovrebbe comportarsi un personaggio. La vita reale è complicata, la gente reale è caotica, imprevedibile e siamo perlopiù motivati dall’egoismo. Questo va bene. Accetto questa parte di noi. I personaggi perfetti sono noiosi.

 

Una delle cose che amo di più di te è la tua incredibile capacità di “raggirare” il lettore, di depistarlo divertendoti a giocare con la sua mente, come avviene in “Bugie Nascoste” o in “Tight” (che speriamo di leggere presto tradotto in italiano). Adoro il modo in cui una tua singola frase può presentare due distinte chiavi di lettura. Le mie domande sono: come riesci a formulare trame e intrecci così intricati? Come nasce l’ispirazione per storie così originali?

Amo che tu abbia accennato a come una frase possa essere interpretata in modi diversi – perché quella è la mia paura più grande nelle traduzioni – che non vengano mantenuti quei “doppi significati”. Per rispondere alla tua domanda, uno dei miei principali obiettivi, non appena mi siedo a scrivere un romanzo, è quello di raggirare il lettore. Ricordo quando ho mandato la prima metà di Bugie nascoste alla mia agente e lei è tornata da me preoccupata che il lettore si sentisse intenzionalmente raggirato e manipolato. Mi sono tipo grattata la testa e ho detto: “Ma… sto cercando di raggirarli e manipolarli!”

È malvagio, ma credo che i lettori lo amino. Io, da lettrice, lo amo. Amo gli indizi mancanti quando sono nascosti in modo astuto, e amo rimanere spiazzata da una storia. Non vorrei mai che un lettore iniziasse a leggere un mio romanzo e “indovinasse” il finale nei primi dieci minuti. Il mio obiettivo è tenerli sempre sulle spine a tentare di indovinare. Con alcuni libri è più semplice che con altri.

L’ispirazione per le storie arriva dai posti più strani. Leggo una nuova storia, o guardo il trailer di un film, e inizio a immaginare le possibilità che potrebbero arrivare da lì. Ascolto i pettegolezzi o provo a immaginare i segreti che potrebbe avere una persona comune. C’è così tanta ispirazione nella vita reale intorno a noi. Dobbiamo solamente tenere le orecchie aperte e ascoltare.

 

Hai una o più autrici preferite? Quali?

Per il romance mi piacciono molto Pam Godwin, CD Reiss e Tiffany Reisz. Hanno tutte una scrittura molto incisiva e interessante.

Nel suspense mi piacciono Lisa Gardner e Gillian Flynn – mi tengono sulle spine e incollata alle pagine.

 

Come si svolge una tua normale giornata di lavoro?

Non ce l’ho. Io cerco di programmarla. Sarei molto più produttiva con un programma! Ma, normalmente, mi alzo intorno alle sette e controllo e rispondo alle email. Preparo la colazione e mi metto a lavorare intorno alle nove. Per le tre ore successive rispondo nei social, alle email e mi occupo delle cose che mi sono programmata di fare. Poi mi incontro con mio marito per pranzare. Nel pomeriggio, cerco di scrivere per tre o quattro ore senza interruzioni. Dopo cena di solito mi occupo ancora qualche ora delle email e dei social e, se riesco, scrivo per un altro paio d’ore. Normalmente vado a letto intorno all’una di notte.

 

Qual è stato il libro più difficile da scrivere e perché?

Mm. Una volta la risposta era Bugie nascoste. Ho faticato davvero molto a trovare il modo di raccontare la storia, da quali angolazioni e il miglior modo di manipolare il lettore. Ma poi ho scritto The Ghostwriter. E ho riscritto The Ghostwriter. E l’ho riscritto ancora. Ho lavorato su quel libro per più di un anno e quello – per me – è un tempo davvero lungo. Ho avuto proprio bisogno di tutto quel tempo per riuscire a perfezionarlo fino a un livello di cui fossi davvero soddisfatta.

 

Fai molte ricerche per i tuoi romanzi?

Dipende dal libro. Per alcuni libri – tipo per La ragazza del 6E, ci sono voluti mesi di ricerche, per capire quel tipo di attività (l’industria delle webcam). Anche Peccato d’innocenza ha richiesto un sacco di ricerche, dato che ho voluto contattare e parlare con coppie di scambisti. Ma per altri libri… tipo per Sex Love Repeat o Trophy Wife, ho fatto poca o nessuna ricerca.

 

Hai mai avuto il blocco dello scrittore? Come l’hai superato?

Mi capita raramente. Il blocco dello scrittore in genere è causato dall’incapacità di sviluppare la trama o i personaggi. Io i miei personaggi li conosco sotto ogni aspetto. Per quanto riguarda la trama – quando rimango bloccata su quella – lo supero o scrivendo tre o quattro possibilità diverse e poi vedo quella che mi piace di più – o rimango lì seduta a “pensare” molto. Il migliore amico di mio figlio una volta ha detto che io “penso” molto, ed è vero! Spesso il solo pensare aiuta a superare la maggior parte dei problemi.

 

Come reagisci di fronte a una recensione negativa?

Una volta leggevo tutte le recensioni, positive o negative, ma adesso sono molto più selettiva. Spesso leggo le recensioni a tre stelle, dato che di solito sono più costruttive rispetto a quelle da una o due. Non mi danno fastidio le recensioni negative costruttive, ma alcune sono veramente cariche d’odio nel tono e nella sostanza. Quelle le evito. Portano energia negativa e io cerco di concentrarmi sulla positività. Voglio migliorare come scrittrice, ma voglio anche continuare a scrivere, e alcune di quelle recensioni mi fanno venir voglia di smettere.

 

Quanto e come influisce il tuo editor nella stesura dei romanzi? Ne hai uno di fiducia, immagino.

Io sono una grande “riscrittrice”. La mia prima bozza di solito è assoluta spazzatura. Spesso scelgo io quello che deve essere sistemato, ma ho anche bisogno di secondi pareri che mi aiutino nelle mie decisioni e a mantenermi concentrata. Ho due editor che uso spesso e due o tre beta che mi aiutano a migliorare ogni bozza e normalmente ci vogliono cinque o sei bozze prima che sia soddisfatta.

 

È uscito da poco il tuo ultimo libro “Hidden Seams”, hai già qualche idea sulla prossima storia? Ci puoi dare qualche anticipazione?

La mia prossima pubblicazione sarà la serie All in – che sarà una duologia o una trilogia. Parla di una cameriera di un casinò che si innamora di un uomo sposato ed è un romantic suspense. È sexy e proibito e pieno di pericolo, il che è stato molto divertente da scrivere. Amo avere la possibilità di gestire storie più lunghe, mi aiuta davvero a sviluppare la storia e i personaggi in modo adeguato
