He knows his place on the pitch, but life is a whole other game.

All his life, Liam Donnelly looked and wondered. Could he? Would he? And then, finally, he did. But when he sampled a taste of that forbidden fruit, his whole world came crashing down, his position with Dublin Rugby right along with it. When the chance to ply his trade in Edinburgh comes along, Liam jumps at the offer, knowing it could be his best opportunity to start fresh and get back to the man he once was. But one look at Chef Lachlan MacLeod-his knowing, whisky-colored eyes, the abrasive scruff dotting his jaw, and the colorful ink lining his forearms-and Liam’s wondering all over again. Can he? Will he? His heart says no, but his body says yes.

He’s conquered his own demons; can he help another man do the same?

Out and proud Chef Lachlan MacLeod has no problem with who he is, except he has a history of hooking up with bi-curious straight men. He’s vowed never to go down that path again, but when Liam Donnelly shows up in his restaurant, his eyes filled with heat and secret longing, Lachlan can’t help himself. He knows the closeted rugby player is a terrible idea, but the man calls to him in a way no one ever has before. What started as a safe way for Liam to explore his sexuality quickly morphs into something much deeper, and now Lachlan wants more. But can his heart reconcile what his head already knows-that loving the gorgeous, broken athlete might actually mean letting him go?

Amazing! Rebecca Norinne did it again, crafting a masterpiece with Liam and Lachlan’s story in “Break Down”, her new installment in the Dublin Rugby series.
A wonderful tangle of need, feelings, passion, sensuality but also vulnerability, and it’s impossible not falling in love with the two protagonists.
This is also a challenge won by this author, who has focused the spotlight on what still remains a taboo: being gay in the world of sport and especially in one of the most “manly” sports, such as rugby.
We already met Liam in the previous books of the series, he was one of the roommates and player in the same team of Declan, the leader of the Dublin Rugby.
Like most of Dublin Rugby players, the lacking of women have never been a problem in Liam’s life, quite the opposite… In truth this has always been his way to cover his struggles with himself, his attempt to deny and keep under control the deep attraction he feels for men too.
When he finally give in, finding the courage to let go, he chooses the wrong guy, he should never give his trust, a clusterfuck.
Lachlan is a famous chef from Edinburgh, the new city where Liam decided to move. Lachlan left behind a turbulent past, finding his balance, and he’s proud of everything he has achieved and happy to live openly his homosexuality.
And then Liam arrives in his life… perhaps at the wrong time.
The sparks fly as soon as they meet, a strong attraction, which is not only physical. They start flirting as
it’s the most natural thing in the world and I really loved them for that. Between them there are a thousand uncertainties and questions about what they want from each other. Friends? Friends with benefits? Lovers? Everything has to be explored.
They must understand what they want and what they are willing to give each other.
Liam is afraid. He’s worried about losing his friends, losing his place in the team and he’s ashamed of what he feels. For Liam is
a long way to go and he doesn’t know if he can trust Lachlan.
Lachlan, on the other hand, realizes Liam may never give him what he needs, but he can’t help himself and resist the force that seems to push him towards Liam.
Little by little he manages to break down Liam’s walls, he gives him all the time he needs, allowing him to be free to explore, to realize his fantasies and just “feel”.
Their passion and “physicality” as a couple, and the slowly discovery of Liam needs has created a real explosive mixture, making their intimate moments full of sensuality. The chemistry between Lachlan and Liam is awesome, inside and outside the sheets, full of understanding and complicity. Sometimes they
don’t need words to understand what goes on the other’s head, but this is also one of their biggest problems.
In fact, things between them are perfect when they are alone, but Liam doesn’t find the strength to feel free and shows his feelings for Lachlan in public.
And it’s a sharp knife Liam involuntarily sinks into Lachlan’s heart every time.
There are ups and downs, fights in their path, they suffer, but they suffer even more to stay away. Everything they live is so intense, revealing all their vulnerabilities.
What can I say more? I loved them, they break through my heart and mind.
I love to think about them, I like to read the moments that struck me the most and it was difficult for me to get away from Liam and Lachlan, when I reached the end of the book. I can only hope to see them in the future in other novels (just saying …)
“Break Down” can also be read as a standalone, I say this especially for those who love to read only M/M books: you don’t need to read the previous books of the series, to enjoy this novel.
For those, who are in love, like me, with this series, I must speak also about Declan.
In each new installment of the Dublin Rugby, we see new faces of this wonderful man, new pieces of him: in “Trying Sophie” he was the man no woman could say no, yielding to his charm, in “Ruck Me” he was Aoife’s scary big brother, a bossy one, who played a key role in the life of his sister, here with Liam he’s just awesome: a TRUE friend.
Declan is the light in a tough moment for Liam, with his way so easy and natural of seeing things, with his deep loyalty to him and unconditional support. I loved him.
So mark this: must-read (now) Break Down by Rebecca Norinne! Trust me!

Amici? Amici con benefici? Amanti? È tutto da esplorare. Devono capire cosa vogliono e cosa sono disposti a concedere l’uno all’altro.

Quindi segnatevelo: da-leggere (subito) Break Down, Rebecca Norinne!

A Dublin Rugby Romance (Book 4)
Author: Rebecca Norinne
Cover Designer: Rebecca Norinne
Release Date: Feb 21, 2018

Blurb

All my life I looked and wondered. Could I? Would I? And then, finally, I did. But when I sampled a taste of that forbidden fruit, my whole world came crashing down.

Now, I’m in a new country, trying to rebuild my life and get back the things I lost. But one look at him—those knowing, whisky-colored eyes, the abrasive scruff dotting his jaw, and the colorful ink lining his forearms—and I’m wondering all over again.

Can I? Will I? My heart says no, but my body says yes.

She’s cooking up something seriously hot with a rugby player ten years her junior. It shouldn’t add up, but when they get together, age ain’t nothing but a number.

Some people came to Ireland for adventure or love. Not me. When I landed in Dublin, it was because my job as a sous chef had imploded on national TV. Humiliated and jobless, I landed a temporary gig as a cook for a rugby team, a sport I knew nothing about. All I wanted to do was save up enough money to get my food truck off the ground back home.

I certainly wasn’t looking for a relationship, especially with someone like Donal Casey, the team’s cocksure young hooker. It was supposed to be a fling, nothing permanent. At least that’s what we told ourselves. But what if you found love in the most unexpected place, with the most unlikely partner? What lengths would you go to keep him?

I have a feeling I’m about to find out. Because even though people say I’m wrong for him, when I’m in Donal’s arms, everything feels oh so right.

Blurb

She flies by the seat of her pants, and he’s a
no-nonsense kind of guy. When these two opposites attract … oh baby, it’s
game on!

I’d called Aoife O’Shaughnessy a number of things, but dumb was never one of
them. Through all the trouble she’d gotten into over the years, I never once
thought she was actually stupid. Until now. Because I just heard
her plan to lose her virginity to the biggest a-hole we know.

My first thought? How the f*ck is Aoife still a virgin? The
second? Over my dead body.

So I volunteered for the job instead.

It might be the stupidest thing I’ve ever done, but once the
words were out of my mouth, I couldn’t take them back. I didn’t want to.
Suddenly, I couldn’t stop wondering what it would be like to kiss the
pink-haired sprite I’d known my whole life, to hear her moan my name when she
comes.

And I know she’s wondering about me too.

It was only supposed to be sex, but now I’m in deep. I never meant to fall in
love with Aoife; this wasn’t supposed to happen. And what came next? Well,
neither of us planned on that.

Excerpt

“How do you
like your chances against the Mariners?” Aoife asked, the bed springs creaking
under the weight of her climbing under the covers.

“It’s hard
to say,” I answered, sneaking past the lads to head to my room. Shutting the
door as quietly as possible, I dropped down onto my bed. “Liam’s rotator cuff
isn’t getting better with physio so Coach McCarthy is going to bench him until
he goes under the knife. That means Paddy’s going to start. Poor kid is scared
shitless.”
“Be nice,
that was you not too long ago.”
“Yeah, but
unlike me, Paddy doesn’t have a huge ego.”
“Oh hush,
you’re not so bad.”
“Oh, I
promise you I am. I’ve just kept it hidden from you all this time.”
“Come to
think of it, you have always been full of yourself,” she joked easily.
“I’d love
for you to be full of me.” When Aoife sucked in a startled breath, I realized
I’d said that out loud. Shit.
“Sorry,” I apologized automatically.
“No you’re
not,” she answered, her voice coming through the line sounding like a long,
slow drink of good whiskey.
“No,” I
agreed, “I’m not.”
I was
trying not to push her too hard, but she knew exactly how badly I wanted her.
After coming in my pants when she’d given herself an epic, toe-curling orgasm
by humping my lap, I’d learned my lesson. Now, whenever I’d be seeing Aoife, I
beat off beforehand.
“About
that. I’ve been thinking …”
“Yeah?” I
asked, my gut clenching with nervous anticipation.
“I’m ready
Eoin.”
Holy fucking Christ, thank you baby Jesus in a
manger! I screamed
in my head as I fought to keep my outward reaction steady. “Are you sure?”
“Yes,” she
answered, her voice growing bold. “I want you inside of me.”
I snaked my
hands under the elastic waistband of my joggers and dragged them down past my
dick. I couldn’t remember if I’d locked my door on the way in, but it was too
late to check. There was no way I was going to ask her to hold that thought
while I made sure. If one of the lads walked in while I had my fist wrapped
around my cock, that’d teach them to knock the next goddamned time.
“Say that
again.” I slowly worked my hand up and down my shaft.
“What?” she
asked, her tone teasing.
“Tell me
you want me inside of you.”
“Are you
touching yourself?”
“Fuck yes,
I’m touching myself. You just told me I get to fuck you soon. It’s a miracle I
didn’t come the second you said it.”
“I want you
to fuck me, Eoin.”
“Are you touching yourself?” I asked on a
strangled moan.
“Aoife …” I
said when she didn’t respond, drawing out her name on an upward stroke. “Please
tell me your fingers are playing with your pretty little cunt.”
“Yes, I’m
touching myself,” she answered on a light moan. “I can’t stop touching myself.”
“Me either
baby,” I agreed, picking up my pace. I trapped the phone between my ear and
shoulder and reached down with my other hand to cup my balls and roll them in
my hand. “I want you so bad,” I groaned, no shame in my confession.
“I know,”
she answered on a shudder. “I can’t wait Eoin.”
“I’m going
to make it so good for you, I promise. But before I fuck you with my cock, I’m
going to make you come on my mouth. Are you picturing it Aoife—my lips on your
clit, my tongue fucking your sweet little pussy?”
Staccato
gasps echoed on the other end of the line. “Yes,” was all she managed to say
between pants. “Yes, please.”
“That’s it
baby, fuck your pretty pussy with your fingers and pretend they’re mine.”
I was
getting close, but I wanted Aoife to come first. I always wanted her pleasure
to come before mine.
“Oh my god
Eoin, I’m coming!” she cried, her orgasm rolling through her. “Fuck, fuck,
fuck,” she chanted.
Her
pleasure was my undoing. My balls constricted and my whole body shuddered just
before something like an electric current shot down my spine and I came so hard
that I saw stars.
Literal
fucking stars. When I came back down from the greatest high I’d ever felt, I
heard Aoife laughing into the phone.
“You still
there?”
“Yeah,” I
croaked. “Holy shit.”
“I know.
It’s never …”
“What?” I
asked, pride egging me on. I had a sneaking suspicion what she was going to say
because it had been like that for me too.
“I’ve never
come that hard before.”
“Me neither,”
I answered honestly.
“Shut up,
you’re just saying that.”
“I promise
you I’m not. That was … shit. Fucking epic, Aoife.”
“Yeah, it
was, wasn’t it?” She chuckled.
“We are
going to be so fucking good together, baby.”
“I like
that, by the way.”
“What’s that?”
I asked, wiping my hand on a towel from my earlier shower.
“That you
call me baby. I like it,” she confessed.
I thought
about it for a second. I’d never called a girl I was with anything but her name
and I had no idea where it had come from. It had just slipped out, kind of how
Aoife had just snuck up on me. Even though the endearment wasn’t something I’d
consciously decided to use, I found myself smiling. “I like that you like it.”
“Oh shit,
Colleen’s calling me to come downstairs,” she suddenly whispered. “I have to
go.”
“Sweet
dreams baby.”
“You too,”
she said, blowing me a loud kiss just before hanging up.
I stared at
myself in the mirror for a few moments, pondered the wide grin and happy eyes
that stared back. Shit. I didn’t know how it had happened or why, but I was
definitely falling for this girl.

“Ruck Me” is Rebecca Norinne’s second book in the Dublin Rugby series, and is Aoife and Eoin’s story.
We already met Aoife in “Trying Sophie”, the book about Declan, her ex- womanizer big and scary brother (and believe me you might want to read his story!!)
It isn’t easy to be Declan’s little sister, he’s the captain of the rugby team captain and the one who has a “little chat” with any new player about some unscripted rules that put off-limits sisters and ex-girlfriends for the players.
This doesn’t stop Eoin, especially once he finds out what Aoife is going to do: she is going to have for her first time with a guy about whom Eoin knows too much, and bad things.
Some rules are meant to be broken, and after a first “no” from Aoife who is afraid to ruin their friendship, the things between them turn really hot.
When Eoin offers himself as a volunteer to be Aoife’s first lover, it’s as if suddenly a light bulb lit everything up, allowing them to see things under a different light, changing completely their relationship.
Their bond is really special, I loved reading their story, how they get tease each other, they study, but mostly to see how they care for each other and Eoin has his little bit confidence in himself, knowing his body has its impact on women, which makes him so sexy, like a little tempting devil. He knows how to play his cards to convince Aoife to surrender to his proposal.
At first they must make a lot of subterfuges to prevent Declan from knowing their story, but the depth of Eoin’s feelings lead him to want to so much more, without fear of any repercussions or physical confrontation with his captain.
Eoin is an amazing character, I really loved him because of his ability to play totally uncover and shows his feelings, even though Aoife occasionally has the involuntary ability to hurt him for that.
Sometimes she made me angry for her uncertainties and some of her choices, even if she has the best intentions, she just ended up to mess with their relationship, but thinking at the end of the book I realize they are so young and it couldn’t be otherwise.
In this case, I must say, “Holy Declan right away”, with his own way set things straight , he has been able to stop a chain of mistakes that was becoming problematic.
I really love this series, I love world of the rugby, is a wonderful sport with a history and its unquestionable charm, especially for us women and through these books you can see things in a light somewhat different.
These guys, their bond and how they live is certainly one of the strengths of these novels, but I also love how this author writes, as she sees the romance with her couples: with a healthy dose of passion and physicality, but also deep feelings that bind them.
Only two more words: Aidan and Tanya … this book reveals something more about their mysterious relationship, their story broke my heart, and I can’t wait to read more about them too.
What can I say more? Remember two things: Rebecca Norinne and Dublin Rugby series, this books deserve to be read!

Title: Ruck Me
Series: Dublin Rugby #2
Author: Rebecca Norinne
Genre: Contemporary Sports Romance
Release Date: August 9, 2017

Blurb

She’s a free spirit; he’s a no nonsense kind of guy.
When these opposites attract … oh baby! It’s game on!

I’ve called Aoife O’Shaughnessy a number of things, but dumb was never
one of them. Through all the insane things she’s done—all the trouble she’s
gotten into—I never once thought she was actually stupid. Until now. Because I just heard her plan to lose her virginity to the vilest human
being I’ve ever met.

My first thought? How the f*ck is Aoife still a virgin? The
second? Over my dead body.So I volunteered for the job instead. It might be the stupidest thing I’ve ever done, but once the
words were out of my mouth, I couldn’t take them back. Now, I can’t stop
wondering what it will be like to kiss the pink-haired sprite I’ve known my
whole life, to hear her moan my name when she comes. And I know she’s wondering about me too.

What started off as a bit of fun has spiraled out of control and now I’m
in deep. I never meant to fall in love with Aoife … it was never supposed
to go this far.

And what happens next, just might break both of us.
